Tom was an avid reader, and I brought library books to Tom on a regular basis. We spent many hours chatting about books and authors he particularly enjoyed and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him pre covid and by phone as covid closed down visits at Cedarvale. I really enjoyed time with Tom pre covid and valued our long regular chats by phone. He was a good friend, had an interesting life and lived it to the fullest he could. Sadly missed.

My condolences to the family of Tom. Due to Covid restrictions, although I was able to drop off books for him regularly, I was only able to visit him on a few occasions since the covid restrictions were put in place. We still shared many many hours of regular chats by phone, discussing favourite books and sharing stories of days in England, family, and current events. He is sadly missed.
