Obituary of Ben Mensink

Suddenly in his home in Holland Landing at the age of 59 years. Leaving behind beloved wife, Tracey Mensink. Loving father of Frank Dale (Katrina Forbes), Kassaundra Mensink (Matthew Martin), and Amanda Mensink (Robie Jasperson). Cherished Opa of Elizabeth, Mackenzie, William, Carmen, Octtavia, Titan, Deklan and Katelyn. Dear brother of Patricia (Wayne Hogan). Brother-in-law of Douglas Dale Jr., and Jessie Dale (Rod Cake). Forever friends of Russell Kirton, Billy Boyle and Rod Cake. Predeceased by his parents Ben and Betty Mensink, his sister Sonya Mensink, his in-laws Douglas and Doreen Dale and his brother-in-law Steven Dale. He was a “daddy” to his pets Daisy, Joey, and Kono and an “Opa” to Kacie dog. Ben was what you call a jack of all trades. Fixing cars, welding, building, he could literally build or repair anything. Ben was also the neighborhood’s handyman, when anyone needed help, he was the person they called. Ben will be sadly missed by everyone he left behind. Our Mr. Fix it has been laid to rest. Visitation will be held at M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick. on Tuesday, July 20th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Followed by a Private Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. by invitation only.
