Shelley and family we are thinking of all of you every single day. We knew from the first time that we met you and Dan that you would become extended family. I will always remember Danny as a positive influence in my life and the life of so many others. When I was down he could lift me up with a simple smile and that gleam in his eye that we all knew so well. He was a friend, mentor and positive influence. A good soul that will be sorely missed.

What an incredibly strong-willed individual with an abundance of character. I never took a visit from him or Shelley for granted because he just wouldn’t let me. As stubborn as he was kind. Such a warm and welcoming man who always treated his friends with respect. Can’t thank him enough for always sharing his beautiful outlook on family and life with me. I remember meeting Dan at the arena when our girls skated together. Dan had a larger than life personality. I will miss seeing him in the neighbourhood.I could always count on him to make me laugh.

I have many, many childhood memories with Steph, and Danny was always there. Whether it was taking us camping with the trailer, laughing at us swimming in the pool or taking us down to the arena carnivals. Danny was someone we all looked up to as kids. Shelley and family. We are so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was such a big personality and so much fun on our skating trips. I remember our trip to Finland in February when it was bone chilling cold. Dan didn't even bring a jacket and walked around Helsinki with a pink sweatshirt! We will never forget Dan.
