We were cousins in life and have some very special Memories, getting together for Anniversary gathering for our Grandparents, We got together at Christmas and our favorite memories are of watching The wonderful World of Disney with our grandfather, Especially when we were together to stay over night it was exciting to open all the Christmas present together and sometimes we seen each other at the cottage swimming out to the dock enjoying the day. They were very Happy Memories we had with Brian. Our thoughts and Prayers are with Fran and all the family. He will be missed. Sorry for your loss. I met Brian when I first started working at Norman and Bolingbrook BP station on Willowdale ave. when I first got into the automotive trade. He taught me so much back then and I truly idolized him. I haven't seen him since those days back in the 80s, but I never will forget him and those years we worked together. He was an inspiration and a great guy to learn the trade from. Rest in peace Brian.

We were brothers through marriage but you always made me feel that we were blood brothers. I will miss our motorcycle and atv's rides and our game nights with family and friends playing pass the ace. You always were available for friends or family in a time of need. Your generosity and humour we be greatly missed by all. If someone called me Johnny I would correct them and say it's just John but when you called me Johnny it felt right. Any time we met you would ask how's it going and what are you up to. Even the last time we talked you asked me how I was . You always put others ahead of yourself. For this and many other reasons and for always being yourself you will be loved by all you have met and greatly missed. Love you brother.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Brian's family. I only had the pleasure of working with Brian at the Town of Georgina for the last couple years but he was always kind and super easy to chat and laugh with. We would often make cracks about my work Jeep since it so frequently needed service. I would visit Brian and as soon as I walked into the shop he would start laughing and say "long time no see, what's wrong with it this time?" and he made sure to poke fun at me when I hit a bump and broke the tail pipe!

One of the good ones left us way too early. Brian was always willing to offer a helping hand to Brad and I with cottage projects and was a great mentor at work with the Town of Newmarket. Frances, Sarah (Kyle), Jess and Quinnrose, we are so very sorry for your loss and so saddened we have lost a friend. Brian put up a good fight and tried his best to overcome the beast he was facing. He didn’t plan this for his retirement he wanted so much to do the things he wanted without restriction after working tirelessly his entire life. We have so many happy memories from card nights, Rama visits (and winning a jackpot on the one arm bandit with his last $1.50); swim days, BBQs, neighbor nights, garage visits, gardening, early morning coffees while the rest of Newmarket slept to the sound of the can tab being pulled because it was 11:00 am somewhere, the peek through cedars to pass a chair or appetizer, countless memories and always great laughs, he will be missed. Rest in peace my friend, cheers until we meet again. Ken and Jo
