Obituary of Mary Evelyn Upshaw

Passed peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in her 86^th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Randy by just a short 5 ½ months. She will be greatly missed by her girls, Cathy (Alan), Holly (late Phil), and Debbie, as well as her grandchildren Jacqueline (Casey), Byron (Tory), Blake (Amie), Amy (Darren), Melanie (Donovan), Brett (Cheryl), Peter (Candice), James (Jessica) and her great grandchildren Leah, Lucy, Dane, Cole, Henry, Noah, Ava, Haiden, Caiden, and Charlie. Mary is survived by her sisters Marjorie, Lee and Gloria and many nieces, nephews and their families. Mary’s greatest joy in life was her family. She wore the name Nana like a true badge of honour. She was by far and away the very best Mom/Nana ever and was revered by her extended family and friends both by birth, by marriage and family by choice. Her entire family would like to thank the amazing staff at Cedarvale Lodge for the love and care given to Mary in the past year and especially the care shown to her family and to Mary herself in the last few days of her time here on earth.
