Obituary of Alfred Leighton Fry

It is with a heavy and relieved heart that we had to say good bye to our dad, Alfred Leighton Fry on Thursday, May 20^th, 2021 at the age of 82 years. He leaves behind his children Kim, Pat (Kim), Steven, and Matt (Jenn). He was welcomed with loving arms by his mom Gladys and his sister Shirley, as well as his wife (Gloria) telling them all about the adventures of his 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who will sadly miss him along with his many family members, friends and neighbours. Dad was an avid gardener and he loved to share the fruits of his labour with everyone. He was also a collector of many things and if you asked him for something he usually had it somewhere in his garage and was able to find it without much trouble. Al’s family would like to thank all of the nurses, medical staff and doctors at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Cancer Care Unit for the amazing care and compassion you took with dad. Private visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Followed by an entombment at Keswick Cemetery.
