He may be (Reg or Reginald) but he will always be our RENNIE !!
Oh how Rennie loved to dance - and what a smooth dancer he was.. At weddings or parties he would somehow get me on the dance floor for a little ROCK & ROLL and we had FUN and Laughs!
My Sister Jan & Cousin Leslie pretty well said what I was going to write.
Rennie will be sadly missed.
Ted, Deb & Steven - Thoughts & Prayers will always be with you.
Love Cousin Bonnie.

To the family of Rennie my heartfelt thoughts are with you.
Like Leslie’s beautiful tribute, I have the same sentiments, feeling glad when he
would come to our gatherings.
I am Rennie’s cousin and remember not only laughs and fun times we had at corn
roasts, cottages and reunions, but spending time at Aunt Tory’s and Uncle Harold’s apt. just down the street from our family in Mt. Dennis, with him, Robert,
Dave, Willie, Bonnie and myself. He would bring his car to the lane way to work on it
(I think he had more than one car)we just
Had good laughs and enjoyed time together.
I was very sorry to hear of his passing.
Love from
Janet Hunt

The clearest memory I have of my cousin Renny is from about 55 years ago when I was a skinny young teenager and Renny, 5 years older than me, was a strong, good looking young man to look up to. Like James Dean, the movie actor, he wore a white T-shirt with a pack of cigs tucked into the shoulder sleeve. James Dean, the Fonz and Renny, were crazy about women and cars, and always had a comb at the ready for their macho, Brylcreemed hair.
Strangely, I barely saw him at all over the years. Only at an occasional Hunt wedding or funeral would we share a wave or a nod. This serves as a reminder to me now to make the most out of any excuse for get-togethers with my cousins that come by. We’ll toast you, Renny, at the next one!

Reg (Rennie) was my cousin, younger by 5 years. There were 16 of us, sons and daughters of the Hunt clan of aunts and uncles who numbered 10. I saw Rennie regularly when he was a young...particularly at Christmas and at the Hunt gatherings at the various family cottages where corn roasts, card games (and yes, the game of craps) played out to much laughter and family lore....
Later in life, when we began to have family reunions, I would have to twist Ren's arm to get to him to even consider attending...but he always came...He was a private guy and I always respected that, but I was always thrilled when he came...and I always enjoyed seeing him again.
He had a great laugh and an easy charm as long as I can remember him...and I was so sorry to hear from Rob that he had been ill and died. With loving thoughts, Leslie Cormode (daughter of Lillian Hunt), Victoria BC
