Matante Léonie has always had a special place in so many of our hearts. She was always in my corner, listening patiently and offering advice with unconditional love. Although I hadn't spoken with her in years, she was never far away in my heart. My sincerest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I was so sad to hear of the passing of my sister in law. Although I only kept in touch through cards at Christmas, she was often in my thoughts, as are my nieces and nephew. The memories we created over the years will remain firmly in my heart. Leonie will be remembered as first and foremost a wonderful and caring mother, a truly great sister in law and friend, and a special individual with an amazing sense of humor & joie de vivre. These traits are evident as they are passed down through her children. My sincere condolences go out to Michel & his family, Mona and her family and Anne and her family.

What sad news! I am sending my biggest and warmest hugs to all of you...she was such a wonderful person with a huge loving heart for everyone around her, an incredible cook who could whip something up in a blink of an eye, ... and always fun to be around! She welcomed me when I was the “new kid on the block” and always felt at home with her! She’ll be missed by so many and I’ll forever cherish my memories of her!. RIP Leonie and may you be reunited with you live Pete!

I have many memories but one of my memories I will always remember of when I was able to take Memere at 78 years old on a trail ride with my horses. She said she had a great time, however also added she didn’t want to do it again. Lol.
