I met Shannon when we were kids at Algonquin Park, 2 summers in a row, then talked everyday on the phone, one day he rode his bike from Scarborough to Ballantrae just to surprise me. But then we lost contact for a few years and he found me again, after that we made soo many wonderful memories together, family dinners, an amazing love, how much he cared for his family, how big his soul was, and forgiveness. Shannon was always special, always made you feel loved, he loved the smell and glow of a camp fire, a good laugh, and good company.
Forever in my heart

I'm lost for words as I have so much I could say but don't know where to start.
Shannon was a love to me a friend and sometimes like a brother. I have so many great memories of him from going to Canadas Wonderland, weekends in the rouge to long bus rides just to hang out with him. He loved his family and friends and always worried about them.We both had our struggles in life and went long times without talking but this time will be the longest. I'm truly heart broken i will never get to hear his voice or laugh again I will keep you close to my heart and knowing you are at peace now my dear friend.
Dianne and family im so sorry for loss of Shannon I will forever keep his candle shining bright.
Good bye until we meet again rest in peace

I was friends with Shannon during our teens, this picture of us was taken in the spring of ‘99. He always had the biggest smile and a big heart to match. Always eager to help wherever he could. Sending my warmest condolences to his family.

My best memory of Shannon was of him in my wedding party. He was smiling non stop. Ear to ear grin! He showed up with a gorgeous lady, was paired with a Beautiful Brides Maid and caught the garder which lead to a dance with another beautiful woman who caught the bouqet. He was the Mac Daddy that day and looked like Hollywood in his White Tux. I never seen him so happy in my life. When he was smiling, it was infectious. He was proud to be there and I loved his charisma.
