Uncle Butch and Aunt Evelyn as teenagers, (1962) back when you had to court a girl properly! The beginning of their love story......
Uncle Butch and Grandpa at the kitchen table hanging out, 1958
Grandpa, Uncle Butch and Uncle Ernie (family friend) working on a car, late 1950's
Grandpa in the army with his buddies and by himself, 1940's
Uncle Butch's Grandma (dad's side) celebrating her 80th birthday (1960) with family and friends, unfortunately passed away 3 weeks later.
Uncle Wayne, Uncle Butch's younger brother, Green Beret in the 1960's
I loved visiting Keswick as a little girl, growing up hearing family stories, hanging with my cousins so much so that as an adult I bought my first home in Keswick on Parkview and lived there for 8 years to raise my son's so they they could have the same happy life outside of the city!
I was very proud that everyone in town knew my Uncle Butch and family! Whenever they found out that I was his niece, or Chris and Mike's cousin, everyone always had wonderful and fun stories to say about them. Always made my heart smile to know the impact my uncle had ❤️

The first time i had ever slept over at the LaCombe family house when i was a kid.I woke up the next morning to butch who i had not seen the night before for some reason anyhow he woke me up and was asking me what i was doing there.. (Michael was in the shower). he had that "cranky" look butch likes to show lol Anyhow i said sleeping.. he gave me another one of Butch's crank looks and asked again what i was doing there.... " i said lying here???" He looked again his face even meaner this time and asked "why are you here??" lol I said "I slept over???!!!??" he then had the biggest smile and laughed and said ok... and walked out of the room.. I must have looked like a deer in headlights and that Man had the biggest chuckle out of making me feel awkward. After that Butch was like a Second Dad to me as i am sure he was too many. Miss you Butch. Thank you for being you and for always making me feel like i was part of your family. Much Love and respect to you until we meet again.

Evelyn ( Marigold) Chris, and Mike. I am so sorry to here about the passing of Butch. He was a great man, and will be missed. He was a good friend and mentor to me when we worked together those years ago, and helped mold me into the person I am today. For that I am grateful and blessed to have known him.
My Condolences go out to you all and your families.

My brother in-law Butch liked having a good time, whether it was watching car racing or the Leafs and Blue Jays, a family get together or even when we ran the community beach association events. He was all into it. Now he will be all into watching over us.
Rest in Peace Butch.
