When Ken and his mother Flora allowed me to live with them while attending United College in Winnipeg in 1955, it was a start of a cherished relationship and they became my second family. Just a host of good memories. Even though we lived in different provinces over the years there was always get togethers. Unbeknown to each other after retirement we both bought trucks and fifth wheels. This became a memorial time as we often traveled together with our wives.
The picture is of us in 1996 in Progresso, Mx. on our first camping trip that took us across the bottom of Texas.
Saying goodbye is a part of life I know, but missing him is also.
Condolences to Gloria, Jim, Warren and Glen and their families.

We had the gift of a 40 year friendship with Ken. We have great memories of visits to the cottage and lots of good times at Ken & Gloria's home. In the last 15 years he had many health problems which he handled with courage and determination to fight on. We will miss him and hold him in our memories.
