My deepest condolences to everyone in the family. Herbie will be greatly missed. He was a gentle and caring soul. I remember being at the family home (many times) at 7 Morning Cres. and he was always fun to talk to and watching out for his beautiful sisters. Quiet, yet always paying attention. Great memories back then! And when i joined Instagram Herb reached out to follow me and i immediately followed him. I loved seeing all his posts, his dinners from the prep to the finale, drinks, cookies, muffins, etc. and his beautiful gardens at his home. I will greatly miss these posts as every time i saw a post from him i would think of the great childhood memories. Rest in peace Herbie. Now you and your Mom and Dad are watching over your sisters. Forever in our hearts.❤

Herb was like a brother to me.
Herb and I worked together for many years with Napa Auto Parts. Herbie you could say was my fathers right hand man. We spent many Sunday night dinners together..
Herbie was a groomsman in my wedding, he always had a laugh or words of advice at a drop of a hat.
Please except my condolences to one of the finest fellow I had the privilege of knowing.
Rest In Peace Herb and I hope you and dad have a round of golf together.

Herbie, was a very good man.We are cousins,and even though we had not seen each other in years,we kept in contact on face book over the last couple of years.He loved to cook and share his creations on face book for everyone to see.We had talked about our childhood memories that we treasured. It was so nice to visit the McKenzie family and the rest of the relatives when we went on our holidays to Aurora. Until we see you again Herbie Rest in piece my cousin.

herb and i go along way since childhood days, it was just 3 weeks ago today i talked to him and then not to talk to him again, we shard alot of good time and memoreis and he will be dearly missed. we must carry on as difficult as it will be, Herbie would want us to do that. Thought and prayers go out to 3 of his wonderful sisters Lori,Kris and Susan at this Tought Time, These 3 and the whole Mckenzie Family have been a second family to me over the years.

Although I had to say good bye to my brother. He will still be with me all time in the memories we shared as kids growing up and as adults. You always watched over your three sisters and I know you still are. Until we meet again. Rest in peace. Love you Herbie.

I still cannot believe I have lost my brother. I am just numb thinking about him. I still picture Herb and I sitting watching television. He will be in my heart forever. Miss you so much Herb. I hope you are happy in heaven now with mom& dad.
