I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin’s death. Kevin was my mechanic for several years and I depended on him so much to look after me. He would leave his truck at my house, take my car in, fix it, and then then bring it home to me that night. Always a fair deal with him and always a smile on his face. I wish I had known earlier. So sorry for your loss.

I have just heard the very sad news of Kevin's passing. We as a family are in shock and so sad to hear this news. We have been clients of Byford Garage since Ivor's owned it and my kids were in Elementary School. We have continued to be customers over the years and included my now driving children and their cars! We will miss his supreme helpfulness and friendliness, and his professionalism with his business. It was our go to mechanical stop and are very sad to not be seeing him there to help us with all our questions. I did see him recently for my car's oil change, and although of course did not know how sick he was, but am glad that I did see him not too long ago. Our condolences to all his family and may you have strength through these difficult times. We are very sad for your loss.

Dear Colin, Merike and family,
Our deepest sympathies on the sudden and tragic loss of KEVIN. We were so fortunate to have been your neighbours on Buckingham Rd. where our kids got to Grow up with your boys.
We and many of the neighbours will especially remember Kevin working away in your garage at 2.00 or 3.00 a.m Passionately working away on his cars that he Loved so much.
Later on after you moved away, we reconnected with Kevin , all grown up working and enjoying his trade of Servicing and Fixing anything Mechanical. True to his calling he was a great Mechanic who always had a smile on his face and the most accommodating and gracious person one could ever meet.
He will Forever be remembered and dearly missed by all who got to know such an outstanding young man.
God grant you and your family’s the strength to bear your sad loss.

I don’t know how to leave a comment, however to say I am shocked is an understatement. I met kevin almost 15 years ago at first as my mechanic. He took care of me and especially my father to make sure that we were always safe. He developed a friendship with my father and treated him like family. He had a huge huge heart. He always was beaming about his family. This is a huge loss and my heart breaks for him, his family and friends.

Dear Brooke,
My family and I are deeply sorry for your loss. It broke our hearts to hear this.
A memory I have of Kevin was when Brooke and I were in their living room and he came up to us showing proudly a painting that Brooke did for him. He was so happy that Brooke painted that.
