Generous, kind, always greeting us with a beaming smile, a warm heart and a hug. As a kid he would always pull out a treat of a quarter or whatever coins he had in his pockets... and then we'd be smiling like crazy!. Condolences and hearts especially to his kids... all you cousins ... and to his grand and great grand kids...and of course a great big hug to you Uncle Bruce. You don't know the big effect those small gestures had on us little scrawny rag-a-muffin kids... xoxo Janine Keeling

From Ann MacInnes (nee Clark)
Our families shared outings, hand me down clothing and social events. My Mom (Loreen) and Moe would gather us kids together for a trip to the Sutton Fair or the CNE. Bruce and my Dad (Gord) would hunt together, and sometimes he would work for my dad. Bruce was always smiling and didn’t mind when we all were underfoot. I remember a trip to your cottage and he showing me my first snapping turtle.
Condolences to all of you from the Clark kids.

And the Lord Says; Be prepared to let go of anything I take from you,
But Never Let Go of My Hand
IN LOVING MEMORY
...BRUCE-DAD…
...September 3, 2020...
What would I give to clasp his hand?
His happy face to see.
To hear his voice, and see his smile,
That meant so much to me
I will think of him in silence,
His name I will oft recall,
But there's nothing left to answer
But his picture on the wall.
Surrounded by friends I will be lonesome,
In the midst of my joys I will be blue;
A smile on my face but a heartache inside,
Longing, dear SWEETHEART-DAD for you.
The rolling stream of Life goes on,
But still the vacant chair
Reminds me of the fact and smile of
…OUR LOVE…who once sat there.
MOE...David...Tim...Dan...Robin...Blair...Tracy & Family...

IN MEMORY
BRUCE WELCH
KIDS & KUBS #00
GOT YOUR TICKET
I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.
Noah's Ark: Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.
ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 83 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Please pass this on to people you want to be blessed.
Give it . . . don't just get it!
Most people walk in and out of your life,
but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart.

To all the Welch kids......so many years being neighbours, we all have so many fond memories of “uncle Bruce”....
Golfing, playing cards, playing pool, dinners together, he was always so welcoming and so kind.
(Still remember him falling in the ditch out front and going to sleep!!)
Keep his memories in your hearts, our sincere condolences.

Tracy, Dan and family, our condolences to you all. We lived 2 doors down on the Queensway for many years and your family were great neighbours! I'll never forget Tracy trying to get the little Jack Russell dog out of the tree while she was still in her nightgown! Hahaha! As you may recall, both my parents (Barb & Danny Wright) have passed...I'd like to think they are all having a drink together up there...Cheers to them all, xo. Big hugs and much love to you all, may the good memories keep you strong. xo

My deepest condolences to Bruce's family.
For many years my late husband Ross, was part of the regular 4 some for golf games & some very interesting golfing holidays with Bruce, Joe(Dales) & Stan(Buck).
Hours were spent around my kitchen table replaying & arguing over holes & scores with lots of drinks. All of this always done with great friendship & most of all--- FUN.
