I remember Freda well and she often comes to mind. I was working at Queensville Day Care Centre in 1979/80 and Freda was the cook there. She was the sweetest and I always would sneak a visit into the kitchen to have a visit. I am sorry for your loss. She was a special, caring person.

We have lost a truly remarkable woman. A woman who was a light in the darkness of this world. The light of God shone brightly through Freda for all to see, a light that brought saving grace to her family, friends and to her community. While we mourn the loss of this truly remarkable woman, we can rest assured that the angels in heaven are rejoicing as Freda returns home to join the family of God. God is well pleased with what his Servant has accomplished on this earth and the souls that he will receive because of her.
It was my privilege and honor to be her pastor at Living Waters Christian Fellowship and I could always count on her to lift my spirits or give me a few words of advice. Although we moved away she was always in my family’s thoughts and prayers. We will remember her always for the love and compassion she bestowed upon us and to her church family and the community as a whole.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and know that their pain is overshadowed by the joy of knowing that Freda is now with God. Her soul is at peace in the hands of the creator for all eternity.
May the Lord bless you and keep you all.
Reverend William Dunbar

Leanne, Adele, Brad, Loretta and family. I’m so sorry to hear about Freda. My heart is broken. You know she was like a grandma to me.
I loved visiting with her before and after church service. She always had a story about a different family member. I didn’t believe her that the family was that big until I met all of you.
Another memory is when I travelled in my scooter down to the lake to have tea in Fredas garage.
Also loved just sitting out front of her apartment at cedarvale lodge enjoying the view.
Grandma Freda I will miss you. Thank you for showing me how to be a daughter of God.
