Mary....I'm very sorry about Mike's passing. Many fine memories of working with you at Mackenzie Health. Mike always had a smile and was a very happy guy. Gone too soon but the Lord is with you. Matthew 5:4 says " Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted."

No words can help with your loss, Mary and family. But I just wanted you to know my heart is shocked and sad. We are praying for you and your children. I remember back to the days when you were dating Mike. The bridal shower our co-workers had for you and when we worked shift together Mike showing up with his great smile and laughter always making you feel better. I have been an 'Aunt' to Michael since he was born. Our families were very close for many years. Michael will be missed so much. He was a lively, outgoing, happy person. It was a pleasure watching him grow up. Condolences to Mary and the rest of the Dawson clan.

We will play cards for you every August knowing that you loved our times together then pool time sidewalk time and the casino. Time watching the game shows when you would sleep over with gang . Love You bud

Uncle Mike was always a big hearted teaser, after helping our family move for the hundredth time he tricked me and Katherine into the garage where he shut us in the dark. He leaned on the garage door laughing the whole time. The teasing continued over the years once he took over as as Chris Kringle every Christmas dangling a shiny present in front of you, with a big smile he took his time to call your names as you waited with excitement. Uncle Mike loved games especially Bingo when I was a teen he made deals with me on babysitting payments either a flat fee or take a chance splitting the winnings from the Bingo pot. (If he won you won!) memories with him include trips to Center Island, October Feast, The Santa Claus Parade followed by The Old Spaghetti Factory, Bowling, The Ex, Sibalds Point, the family trailers at Lake Field, celebrations at the Mandarin, Medieval Times. and family Sunday’s at grandma’s playing Uno, spoons and crazy 8’s. I can not remember a time when he was not part of the “Smith”family or my uncle.
