To my dear Mum and David
I'm so glad that you had the blessing of crossing paths.
When you met, regardless of how petulant a teenager I was, it was so ABUNDANTLY clear how happy you made one another. It was obvious that you provided each other both the romance, companionship and "best-friend"ship that you'd not yet found before. Mum, I hope you know it was blatant to everyone, people often mentioning around town, that you'd lit something up in each other and seemed like the perfect and obvious fit. Not only was it Dave, but what you two did with the better part of 2 decades, that gave so many people around you, such a gift. You allowed so many people to share in and enjoy your matching humours, your families, your awesome Dave-Chevy host/hostessing dynamic, your kind hearted and neighbourly spirits. You two at a gathering were such a duo, Dave loud and goofy, you making sure every hand had a drink or full plate.
It was a legendary adventure to watch and I only hope Andrew and I can provide the memories to others over our years together as well as you two have for so many. And while many good adventure chapters have their time, I just think it's so cool Dave, who was such a guy, chose you to be the gal who will remain his forever. Xo

David and I met initially while working at M&S, later marrying and having two children, Bostin and Madi. Our lives went in different directions, though I most enjoy memories of his vivacious approach to life and his incredible creativity, especially when celebrating or planning a party! Rest In Peace David, and my deepest condolences to the family and friends who surrounded him in his later years.

To Chevy and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. What a loss. He was so full of life with the crazy shirts. We will cherish our fond memories of limo rides, summer parties and his wonderful ability to embarrass everyone with crazy antics...he will be so missed.

I spent 10 years at M & S and 6 of those with David. Our team did many innovative things together and. David was always the calming, practical and fun side of any product development initiatives we did. I helped him at home build large walls of of concrete block for the addition and I was introduced to "Bucky Beaver". Too many great stories to tell here. I will miss him dearly.

Dear Chevy, my deepest condolences to you and family. Sadly we never met but perhaps he may have mentioned me? David became a good friend, when I was posted by Marks & Spencer to Toronto in 1987. I had 3 great years and had the enormous pleasure of promoting David to replace me in 1990.
He was unique, smart, affectionate and a deeply sincere, not forgetting his capacity to party! I am truly saddened by the news, as I was hoping to meet with him again and share a drop of his favourite tipple - Bacardi!
I almost took up a second residence in Keswick but had to flee for my Livers sake! We enjoyed great holidays and travelled the length and breadth of Canada and he was treated like family when visiting me in London, UK.
Very sad indeed but at the same time, he did live life to the full and enriched the life of all those he touched.
My very best wishes to you all, lee.
