Derek Jackson Brown
The Day we met he was applying for a job.
His honesty & kindness were there for all to see. He told me about his dad who he missed so dearly.
We chatted about Polly (Mom) He was so thankful to have you there standing by for him.
We laughed, we chatted about girls & life and his plans for finding serenity.
He was just returning from Australia & it was clear he wanted health & was so full of life.
As I just read, he indeed had an infectious smile & was so passionate about life.
Hiring him was never a question.
Although he sometimes struggled he always came to me in honesty & we truly respected that. As a recovering alcoholic, I am always aware of the pain that surrounds addiction.
I will always remember the smile & the positive energy & only that.
The scientists say that energy is eternal a constant. It only changes such.
Your energy will always be.
May that energy be at peace & serenity now.
So glad we all met & wish the time was more.
