So sorry to hear about Jean-Marc's passing. I remember him being the life of the party on many occasions.

Sending all our love in memory of Uncle Marc to my Auntie Jan, my cousins Rene, Michael and Chantale and all the kids. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Marc. He was a kind and loving husband, Dad, and Papa. What I will remember most about Uncle Marc is his great sense of humor. He would make everyone in the room laugh over and over, and bring such joy to everyone around him. It was so wonderful to see Uncle Marc and Auntie Jan just over a year ago at my sister Stephanies wedding in the Rocky Mountains, in Canmore Alberta. We were all so happy they were able to make the trip and to have spent that time together. We love you all so very much, and are sending love and prayers to you during this difficult time and always. We will remember Marc for his Bbq expertise. Our son Lucas was our first family member to experience his bbq bacon and eggs. He taught Anthony how to bbq chicken always in the top rack. Anthony said he was the best and most patient golfer and taught him how to play the game properly. We have wonderful memories as neighbors in Newmarket and will remember Marc fondly. Over the past few days , we have been reminiscing about Marc.
Mike met Marc when he came to the front door dating Janice .They
hit it off right from the start.He became the brother he never had .
He was the best man at our Wedding. We had a lot of fun times and
laughter together.
We have remained close over the years ,even though the miles separated
us .
He had a wonderful positive attitude ,dedicated and hardworking .
Family was his first priority, golf being second.....
He was a loving husband ,great Dad and Papa . He was kind to our parents .
So Thank you Marc, we are grateful to have had you in out lives, and for
these many wonderful memories we will hold so dear in our hearts .
We will miss you, but know you are at peace .

Marc was a dear friend and next door neighbour of the Thompson family when we lived in Newmarket, ON. He was one of my husband Ian's golfing buddy's.A group of four friends who golfed every Saturday and would get together afterwards at one of our homes for dinner and to watch the hockey games with the wives and families. I have very fond memories of those days. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family especially to his dear wife Janice, his daughter Chantale and his sons Rene and Michael. Marc and I were almost inseparable during our high school years. There are few memories of my youth that don’t include Marc, many of which we wouldn’t want our kids to know, but all of which would make us laugh at re-telling them. As Marc and Jan, Karen and I moved around the country because of work, we always kept in touch and I cherish the memories of the years Marc and Jan lived near our house in Ottawa. I will miss Marc tremendously but I have great memories to cherish for a lifetime. Rest In Peace Marc, we will see each other again.
