Obituary of Arthur William Wesley Field

A visionary, self taught entrepreneur, anonymous philanthropist, and active community member are all attributes easily given to describe Arthur Field. Art passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Friday August 9, 2019 at the age of 65 years, with family by his side. Beloved husband of Anneke Field (nee Brown) of Sutton by the Lake. Loving father of Ronald Michael Edward Hurst (Vicki Millard) of Niagara Falls, Richard Arnold John Field of Cannington and Jennifer Ann-Marie Field (Chris Fletcher) of the Sunshine Coast, B.C. Cherished grandfather of Dakota, Ciara, Lily-Kaiden, Braydon, Reese, Liam and great grandfather of Colson. Dear brother Jack Keith Stuart Field of the Sunshine Coast, B.C. and brother-in-law of Edward Brown (Joan) formerly of Baldwin, Marie Page of Brown Hill, Elaine (Grant McGregor) of Lindsay and Glady (Ross Brown) of Sundridge, and several nieces, nephews and cherished friends. We wish to thank doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of Southlake Regional Health Centre, Toronto General Hospital, family, friends, neighbours and community for their love, care, and support, throughout the past few difficult years. We do so appreciate all of you. Thank you. Visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Saturday August 17, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place at Baldwin Cemetery (Baldwin Road at Catering Road, Georgina). All are welcome to join us afterward at 112 Roxana Drive, Sutton by the Lake, Club House for a reception. Donations to Southlake or Toronto General Hospital would be appreciated. You may sign an online book of condolences at mwbeckerfuneralhome.com            CLICK HERE
