Damn. I kept saying I would see him when I next got to Toronto. Not been back since 2005.
I mostly remember his hair and in the sixties, the world's tightest jeans. His family was part of mine with the great parents, the cool big bro and the pretty younger sister. I moved into the area in 1959 at age 4. Almost immediately, we hit it off. He was a character, thought that he was pretty cool and fearless.In my eyes he was. He was my first real friend and while our contact over the next 50 years was sparse, I thought of him often. Safe journey my old friend.
