To all the Fogarasi family. We are so sorry for the loss of your Dad and Grandfather.
We really have missed having him living next door for the past few years. I still look out the window every time I hear a lawn mower expecting to see him riding around hitting every stick and stone on the property.. The new neighbors just will never compare to having the Fogarasi family living there. Ivan was one of the best neighbor and friend that we will ever have.
He was always there whenever we needed something. We have missed him and I’m sure that you all will too. Just remember he will still always be with you in your hearts. Take care. From all the FitzPatrick family.
Ivan was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. His kind heart and gentle ways said a lot. I feel that I was privileged to have known him and now hold many wonderful memories. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time. Please know that a spirit like Ivan's can never be gone, but will always live on in the hearts and minds of those that love him. RIP Ivan.

Father of all, we pray to you for Dad.(Ivan)., and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
To the family of Ivan: I met Ivan at Church. We introduced ourselves to each other and from then on when he entered the door of the church he would come over and shake my hand and we would say hello to each other. I loved seeing him each week and I can hardly that I only saw him a week ago and now he is gone. My 9 year old grandson would always talk to him too about his motorcycle. He was a good man so cherish the memories. May the Lord Bless and protect you Ivan and lead you to Life everlasting.
I can’t believe I am at the moment that I need to write this to you. There are so many things I wish I said, so many things I wish we had more time for, I wish there was more time for you to be with Nicholas and teach him about life and spend time going fishing with him. Please lord,
Guide my father to the light. Please hug in you warm embrace. Please tell him how much I love him and miss him. Please let me be pir guardian angel. Thank you daddy for me always keeping my faith stong. Please give Anyu a hug for me and Apu and mom. I miss you all so much. Until the day we can be together again. You raised me to be strong. You gave me the courage never to give up. You were my protector from the world and all my fears in life. You showed me how to love and trust even in my darkest of hours. When you were in pain I was in pain. I always knew when you needed me and you always knew when I needed you. You never my side though the most happiness of times. You walked me down the isle twice and the third time I said its was okay to give you a rest. We danced to dream a little dream at my wedding to David. The father daughter dance it was one of the happiest times in my life next to the birth of your grandson and the passing of my first child. Where you bye my side. Even when I was loosing my self you were there and brought me back from the deep end.
Thank you for all that you have shown for my and given to me and for loving me. I know you are always in my heart. But please watch over David and Dan, Anthony and Anna and Nicholas.

I will always remember Ivan as a child, as my cousin. A sweet boy with a sweet smile. One of my favourite pictures from old family albums (I think Otto has it somewhere) is of Ivan, George and Leslie as kids, laughing and wrestling each other in a tiny plastic turtle pool.
