Aunt Pat and all of my cousins were part of my growing up years and it was hard to be parted from family when we moved. But distance doesn't lessen love and that love will always be in my heart for Aunt Pat and all of you.

To all the boys and their families, all other relatives and family friends, please accept my most sincere condolences. Your mom (Pat) was a very kind, wonderful and wise woman. She truly was a mother that many could only wish for. As evidenced by her years and years of absolute dedication, her family was her priority. I can not imagine the void you are all feeling from her passing and can only hope that knowing she is in a better place now, with her beloved Bill and her parents, will bring you comfort at this very difficult time.

Special condolences to Don and his family. Growing up together and sharing experiences; sometimes it feels like we were brothers. Living a virtual stone-throw away gave me a great perspective on your life and your mom’s. Pat was always present and a truly caring parent. I remember her warm welcoming smile and putting up with another one of the Sedore’s from across the Queensway. She gave the Pestill household a feeling of warmth and happiness. Whether joining you on Grundy camping trips or just sitting around playing board games, Pat was always there. She instilled in me my love for tropical fish which is still going strong. I loved your mom dearly. Take great pride in the fact that she gave you your start in the world and you are carrying on her tradition with your children and grandchildren.
