I (Sheri) the daughter of Jake Rielley have just learned of Darrell's passing. Someone who comes into my work now and then that knows Darrell was in today and I asked if he had spoken to him lately. Figuring that I was not going to like the answer given the fact that my Dad has not heard from Darrell in a while I still asked. It is with great sadness to hear of his passing. My Dad and Darrell worked together and for many years they would go to Michigan twice a year to attend the NASCAR race. One of those weekends always fell on Father's Day, It always made me so happy to know you guys were celebrating together doing something you both loved. Jake and I send much love to the family. Darrell, you were a generous friend and will be missed. RIP, kind Sir.

I don’t even know where to start in expressing how very sorry and heart broken I am that Darrell has passed away. He was larger than life and our friendship goes back to childhood. This man helped me get me first job. He was a constant friend and source of support through difficult times and is family. Darrell was taken far too soon and will be forever missed. I know a lot of people including myself are deeply saddened for your and our loss. The great memories are abundant and endless.
Until we meet again, R.I.P. good buddy. Round up all our friends who also left way too soon. Party is in heaven.

So very sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. My heart goes out to the entire family. Gain strength in each other during this very difficult time. Although I have not seen Darrell for many years since he left home, I did have a chance to spend time with him during our early teenage years; a great person and a good friend to all who knew him. Certainly too early to be taken.

So very sorry to hear of Darrell’s passing. God has gained another superhero soul. I have so many happy and fun memories of times shared with you all. He was taken way too soon. We will never forget his huge smile and how he loved to be having fun and making sure everyone around him was having fun and laughing. So many wonderful qualities this man possessed.

We are so very,very sad that Darrell has passed. He has been a massive part of our lives for years, especially Mark's ( since he was a baby!). My most cherished memory of Darrell is when him and Delphine surprised us to go to our wedding! So many moments, so many memories. Thanks for the memories big guy, you will be missed. Love you all xo

So sorry to hear about Darrell's passing. He was a really great guy. I didn't really know him that well when I lived in Newfoundland but we worked together at Markall Painting here in Ontario back in the late 80's. He was well liked and always had a smile on his face.
