Cathy, Emily and family,
I am shocked by the sudden passing of Earl, in disbelief really. His cheers certainly filled many arenas with his great big "go hawks" cheer. When I walked into an arena, I would always wonder what kind of candy Earl would have in his jacket pocket, and only moments after saying "hi Earl", he would offer me whatever he had that day. A very sincere man, I felt pretty close to Earl quite early in our hockey days. Tournaments were so much fun although the nights were sometimes a little too long! With hockey behind us now, it was very nice to see you guys this summer. The void left will be great, but I hope you can use your fond memories to make these difficult times a little easier.
If there is anything that you need at this time and beyond, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
