Obituary of Ethel Didi Griffin

Didi, lived most of her life in Keswick,  served as a lifelong member of the Ontario Provincial Conservatives and was the recipient of the Confederation of Canada Medal in recognition of Significant Contribution to Compatriots Community and to Canada.  Peacefully at Serenity Retirement Residence in Barrie on Saturday December 1, 2018 at the age of 100 years. Beloved companion of the late Eric Dale and the loving mother of the late Ronald Norman Griffin formerly of Pefferlaw. She was the cherished grandmother of Kent Griffin and his wife Darla of Barrie, Kelly Griffin and Kim Griffin both of Sutton and great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Connor, Lee, Taylor, Cameron, Spencer and Brooklyn.  Predeceased by brother Howard West. A Graveside Service will take place at the Briar Hill Cemetery in Sutton. Arrangements entrusted to the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick. In memory of Didi, donations to the Cardiac Center of the Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
