Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Sunday, June 21, 2009 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband Austin “Ozzie” Byers (1985) and her son Rick Byers (2004). Loving mother of Kirk (Gordene) Byers of Toronto and Lorie (Larry Ross), and mother-in-law of Wendy Byers, all of Keswick. Cherished grandmother of Justin (Christine) Ross. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Stan and Dorothy Day, Thelma Evans, Carl and Margaret Day and Janet Day. Predeceased by her brother Ted Day and brother-in-law Norm Evans. Loretta will be missed by many family and friend, especially her dear companion Ken Peters.
