Obituary of Vera Irene Longfield

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick on Saturday June 2, 2018, at the age of 91 years. Vera, beloved wife of the late Bruce Longfield, formerly of 6th Concession, Queensville (1983). Loving mother of Gord and his wife Cathy of Apsley, Howie and his wife Marilyn of Algonquin Highlands, Dianne Harrison of Rosemont and of the late Faye Pollock (2005). Cherished 'Grandma' of Cheryl (Kevin Schweer), Chris Longfield (Leslie), Jayme (Steve Bastarache), Jodie (Rick Doran), David Harrison (Pam), Marsha (Jon Mateer), Clint Pollock (Kim), and great 'Grandma' of Mason, Carter, Logan, Cooper, Makayla, Madeline, Owen, Sara, Sean, Olivia and Ava. Dear sister of Cecil Coates (late Marg) Newmaket, Joe Coates (Ethel) Mount Albert, and of the late Olive (Bruce Andrews), and Harry and his surviving wife Shirley of Keswick. The family will receive friends at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Wednesday June 6th, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday June 7^th, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Queensville Cemetery.
