Obituary of Joe Lazzaro

Suddenly, surrounded by his family at Southlake Regional Healthy Centre in Newmarket on Sunday April 1, 2018 at the age of 71 years. Joe, beloved husband of 46 years of Karen-Lee Lazzaro (nee Vertolli) of Willow Beach, and son of Antoinette Lazzaro (nee Monardo) of Toronto and her late husband Dominic Lazzaro. Loving father of Joey and Anthony of Keswick and Lisa (Wayne Hamilton) of Willow Beach. Cherished ‘Grandpa’ of Hailey and Seryn. Dear brother of Frank (Sue) of Angus, Jimmy, Dominic (Regina ‘Reggie’), Rose and Lina Lazzaro, all of Toronto, and brother-in-law of Jack and Val Violante of Mississauga. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Special thanks to nurses and staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Cardio Vascular I.C.U., especially Dr. Caroline Teng, Dr. Ip and Dr. Michael Sullivan, our hero’s, for their hard-fought battle, care and support in trying to save Joe’s life.
