Obituary of Violet McMinnis Gallagher

Peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick on Saturday March 10th, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Violet, beloved wife of the late John Gallagher 'Jack' (1997). Loving mother of Cindy Gallagher of Keswick, Susan (Ron Coates) of Zephyr, and Mike Gallagher (Lisa) of Stoufville. Cherished 'Nanny' of Derek, Ian, Chris, Kim, Justin and Dylan, 'Great Nanny' of Kristina, Connor, Ella, Jack, Joshua, Carter, Nathan and Hannah and great great 'Nanny' of Justice, Orinn and Grimm. Dear sister of the late Charles Currie, Molly Spicer and Myrtle Barkwell. Special thanks to all the staff at Cedarvale Lodge for all of their wonderful care and support. The family will receive friends at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Thursday March 15th, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday March 16th, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Albert Cemetery, Mount Albert, Ontario.   In memory of Violet, donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
