Dear Donna and Family
Everything that was done for Sunday's viewing and the service yesterday was beautiful. The speeches that were made by Kirsten, Mercedes and Montana were so touching. It really showed how much Jay was loved and is going to be missed. Jay certainly was a very special man.
We will be thinking of you moving forward. We hope that each day, each memory will bring smiles to you.
With love and heartfelt condolences to you.
Nancy and Dave

When I was a kid Jay was my favourite uncle.I was always so excited when my mom would tell me that he was coming for a visit. He would always take the time to entertain me.Those early memories are still vivid in my head.Me grabbing onto uncle jays arm as he would pull me up and down off the ground.
I am very saddened to hear then news of his recent passing. I am also sorry how the family has drifted apart over the years and that I didn't get to tell him how much he meant to me as a kid.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the whole family and to those who Jay had touched with his kindness and friendship. He will always be remembered in my home for the great guy that he was.

Dear Donna and family,
Our hearts go out to you all at this very sad time as you grieve such a loving husband, father, and grandfather as Jay. We think back to when we all spent so much time together, when our children were so young, and we thank you for the deep friendship, love, and laughter that we all shared together. It's hard now to believe that Jay is gone, and our hearts grieve with you, but I pray that the knowledge that you're all surrounded by so many people who love you will give you the strength to move on as your hearts slowly heal from your great loss. Praying that God would fill you all with the comfort, peace, and healing love that only He can give.
God bless you all,
Huge hugs,
Joyce, Wayne, Meghan, and Aaron xoxo

Jay, I was 7 years old when you were born. I remember your blonde curles and that everyone thought you were a girl. Mom would not cut your golden locks. You were always the funny one, you always had one liners that would make everyone laugh. I remember when we put you in the back of the Volkswagen when mom and Donna (your sister) would make their weekly trips to Alliston and would never take any of us, and when they were half way there you jumped up and said “surprise” needless to say they brought you back home. There was also the time when you and Robin got hold of the hair shears and decided to give each other the “Mohawks”. Then the barn mysteriously burned down while you, robin and the Bolton boys were visiting.
I guess these were times that I had very fond memories of you. Later, after dad died things were very sporadic. I am so very glad that I came up in January and that we had the time together to reminisce, and to get back to our roots. I got to meet your wonderful family. You were so very lucky to have a wife like Donna, whose world revolved around you. Then your children Kirsten, Chris and Melissa, who love you with all their hearts, and that you had made such such an impact on their lives. They are who they are today because of you and Donna. You taught them lessons that are vital to survive in today’s world. Then last but not least, your wonderful grandsons, Kayden, Cooper Kolten and Hunter, May you remember with fondness in your heart your papa and know that his world revolved around you all. Remember him with all the love he had for you.
Jay, may you be at peace and welcome us with your smile and humor when it is our time. I am honored that you came to me on February 21st to tell me you were okay.
Love you and miss you, Nancy
